Tu B’Shevat Fruit Tree Care

Winter is the optimal time to care for your fruit trees, so it makes sense this is also the season for celebrating Tu B’Shevat, the Jewish Arbor Day. Join us at an off-site location for a workshop lead by UCCE Yolo Master Gardener Bonnie Berman. She’ll share a wealth of knowledge about how to keep your fruit trees healthy and productive. She will discuss pruning, common fruit tree pests, and how to control them, as well as tips on how to improve the lifespan of your fruit trees.
This program will include a brief presentation about the holiday of Tu B’Shevat and will include a sampling of traditional seasonal fruits. Please contact Adult Education chair Nancy Lazarus with questions.
