Join us to discuss Here All Along, by Sara Hurwitz. (Third of three discussions.)
This book is “not a how-to guide…but a why-to guide” and touches on what Judaism can teach us about gratitude, mindfulness, work/life balance and yes, politics. The author, Sarah Hurwitz, best known as Michelle Obama’s head speechwriter, as well as for her time writing for President Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton, turns her writing chops toward Judaism, “and no one is more surprised than she is.”
You do NOT need to be a CBH Partner or even Jewish to participate. You also do not need to come to all of the discussion dates, although you are welcome to. The only age requirement is a desire to take part. You do need to register in order to attend.
The discussion is sponsored and facilitated by the Adult Education Committee, the Partnership Committee, and Rabbi Greg Wolfe.
