Congregation Bet Haverim invites you to celebrate the installation of Rabbi Bess Wohlner and Rabbi Jeremy Simons as our new spiritual leaders.

The installation of a new rabbi is a historically sacred, ceremonial event to mark the transition of spiritual leadership. To allow the installation to be more heartfelt and meaningful, it is often scheduled months after the rabbi starts to give the community and the rabbi a period of time of interaction and introduction.  Please join our haverim as we deepen our bond with our new rabbis.

Installation Kabbalat Shabbat Celebration

We joyously continue from strength to strength as Rabbi Emeritus Greg Wolfe passes the Torah to our new rabbis. Our special guest speaker is our rabbis’ professor, Rabbi Dr. Dvora Weisberg, who will lead this unique moment in our congregation’s history!

10:00 am Shabbat morning service
12:20-ish Light lunch following services – Reservation requested
7:00 pm Havdalah with Rabbi Wohlner on guitar, followed by an adult evening of mead & honey tasting, with Amina Harris & Josh Zeldner, of The Hive Tasting Room & Kitchen. Sweet and savor goodies as an accompaniment will be provided.
