Sukkah Building + Decorating

Come help build our sukkah–we need you! To volunteer for either or both days, contact Steve Cohan, Sukkah Building Extraordinaire, at smcohan1@gmail.com or 530-304-4808. The first day (Wednesday, September 27) will be for construction followed by a second day (Thursday, September 28) for decoration.

We’ll also need a tear down crew on Sunday, October 8 at 10:00am.

Note: This is our last year with our beloved current sukkah as it is nearly time to replace the lumber. We will be fundraising for a new sukkah that is much lighter and easier to assemble for future years, but we want to give our current sukkah the proper goodbye it deserves! It was lovingly donated by the Adult B’nai Mitzvah Class of 2013 (THANK YOU!). We are excited to enjoy it for one more season and also look forward to seeing the beautiful wall panels they created under the loving guidance of Meryl Rappaport, hanging in our new sukkah come 5785.
