E-Tone Newsletter Event & Announcement Requests

All events hosted on our campus and/or announced in our weekly newsletter must first be approved by our Executive Director through this form. Requests for publication should be submitted by the Wednesday prior to our Sunday publication.

Submissions meeting the following criteria will be considered for publication:

  • Reminders about approved CBH programs and events
  • Meeting notices for CBH groups and committees
  • Religious school and/or CBH youth group notices
  • Ritual information (i.e., holiday and Shabbat schedules and details)
  • News about CBH partners’ significant life events (bet mitzvahs, births, marriages, anniversaries, deaths)
Please note: all submissions must include contact information and may be edited for length, clarity, readability and compliance with CBH editorial style. The placement and frequency of submissions within our email will be at the discretion of the Communications Coordinator and the Executive Director. No item will be included more than four weeks prior to an event/meeting date, although exceptions may be made for CBH fundraisers. Items will generally run for two weeks.

  • If held on CBH campus, please specify which room. If you have not reserved a room with our Interim Executive Director, Wendy Haworth, please send an email to director@bethaverim.org BEFORE submitting content for the E-Tone. If off-site, please provide full name and address of location.
  • If submission is accepted for publication, information may be edited for length, clarity, readability, space availability, or adherence to Editorial Submission policies at the discretion of the Communications Coordinator or the Executive Director.
    Will there be a professional photographer/videographer present to capture the event? If so, those attending must be notified with appropriate signage.
  • If this is an event not sponsored by Congregation Bet Haverim, please provide a website address where further information may be obtained by our readers.

      Digital photos and/or digitized graphics are welcomed to enhance your submission. Images may be re-sized, cropped or may not accompany your submission at the discretion of the Communications Coordinator and/or Executive Director.
