New Havurah Programs
Virtually for now, real-time later.
WHAT IS A HAVURAH?
A Havurah is a small group of CBH partners who gather together (virtually for now, real time for later) on a regular basis. The group may be primarily social and may or may not be centered around Jewish holidays. Groups can be formed based on common interests and life stages or may be diverse. It is up to each group.
WHAT IS CBH’S INVOLVEMENT?
CBH can provide contact information and match partners with common interests. CBH can also assist during the formation stage. Once formed, partners decide together on activities and how often to meet. Havurot (plural of Havurah) are an important part of the Reform Jewish Community and a good way to keep people connected.
Please contact havurah@bethaverim.org or the office if you are interested is being part of a Havurah. Please also contact us if you are part of an ongoing Havurah; we’d like to know which partners are involved and hear about your successes and simchas.
We are looking forward to more community building at CBH.
