Join your haverim to discuss a film from the Sacramento Jewish Film Festival, “200 Meters.”
This film raises humanitarian issues surrounding checkpoints operated by Israel. Watch the film at the Festival with your own ticket or pass; register here through the New Israel Fund to join Ronny Perlman of Machsom Watch, speaking from Israel, to discuss these issues in depth. This discussion is co-presented by New Israel Fund and CBH Israel Peace Alternatives, with co-sponsorship from J Street Northwest, Rabbi Greg Wolfe, and the Adult Education Committee.
Machsom Watch is an Israeli women’s group that monitors checkpoints in the West Bank.
Each year the Festival strives to bring high quality and award-winning Jewish-themed films from the U.S., Israel, and around the world to the Sacramento Region. Tickets and passes are available at this link.
