As the center of Jewish community life in Davis and the surrounding area, we are committed to building a community which meets the educational, spiritual and social needs of people in all stages of life.

The Social Justice Committee, along with co-sponsor Meals on Wheels Yolo County (MOW Yolo), invites partners to learn more about Food Insecurity in Davis and Yolo County, especially as it impacts the nutrition and socialization needs of local seniors. Joy Cohan, Executive Director of MOW Yolo and CBH Partner, will deliver the sermon on this theme, as well as share information and insights from her current work and past experiences with Yolo Food Bank during an oneg featuring “a taste of MOW Yolo”!
Additionally, Social Justice Committee members will share plans for the adoption of a CBH meal delivery route to serve Davis seniors on the MOW Yolo home-delivered meals program.
