While our region is on the strictest lockdown ever, Songleaders are busy preparing for a music-filled service. We have more than a dozen musicians preparing to sing a capella cantorial-style, or to sing accompanying themselves on an instrument, while others are pre-recording their selections. We have an instrumental duet, and songs in English, Hebrew and Yiddish. The service will be led by Sarah Pattison as Rabbi Greg is away. Days are getting even shorter, but our Shabbat service will be a bright beacon of community and spirit as we gather in the deep mid-winter.
