Join us for a panel discussion in search of ways to reform how we now structure public safety ; for instance, should we add social workers, medics, psychologists, drug counselors as alternative responders to 911 calls?
The Social Action/Tikkum Olam Committee and The Adult Education Committee are sponsoring a Zoom presentation of a panel discussion. Panelists will include: Roy Kaplan as moderator and a member of Yolo People Power; Lucas Frerichs (running for re-election to City Council) a liaison to the Police Accountability Commission; Dillan Horton (running for City Council) chair of the Police Accountability Commission; Darren Pytel, Police Chief, Davis Police Department.
