What is SHALOM K’TANIM?

“SHALOM K’TANIM means “Hello Little Ones”.

SHALOM K’TANIM is an opportunity to celebrate the rhythm of the Jewish calendar and build a community of young families.

What can I expect at a SHALOM K’TANIM event?

Opportunities to sing, play, and socialize with other young families from the local Jewish community.
 
Fun Jewish and/or holiday-related activities.
 
A welcoming and fun environment where children and their grown-ups can just show up and participate without having to do anything in advance.

 

Activities focus on the 0-6+ crowd with their grown-ups, but older kids are always welcome!

Shalom K’tanim Celebrates Shavuot!
Saturday, May 16, 2026 | 10:30am-12:30pm

Shalom K’tanim (“Hello Little Ones”) is celebrating Shavuot at Bet Haverim! Families with little ones are invited to wear their favorite white outfit and join the celebration with a music and movement program with Music Together teacher, Karen Crane (10:35-11am), and Shavuot-themed crafts, free play and dairy treats (11am-12:30pm). 
 
Music program will be held in the Redwood Grove (weather permitting, otherwise in the Social Hall) so please bring a blanket with a water-resistant backing to sit.
 
Activities are geared towards the 0-6 year-old crowd with their grown-ups, but older kids are always welcome to join!
