Join Us in an Interactive Bet Haverim Conversation

Sunday, February 22 | 2:00pm-3:30pm | Social Hall
This event is for Bet Haverim Partners and is sponsored by the Social Justice and DEI Committes of Bet Haverim

Becki Cohn-Vargas, a nationally-known expert and published author on identity safety, will help us consider what it means to truly belong in a Jewish community—and in the world beyond. Across centuries and continents, Jewish people have expressed their identities in countless ways: religious, cultural, ethnic, spiritual, political, artistic, and more. Today, as concerns about safety and inclusion grow, the question of Jewish identity safety has become especially important. An identity-safe space is one where each person feels welcome, valued, and able to express their authentic self without fear of judgment or exclusion. Becki Cohn-Vargas will guide an engaging, interactive session designed to open space for honest conversation, reflection, and connection. Together, we will explore what strengthens community and fosters belonging for each of us —both within our Jewish spaces and in the wider world.

Please RSVP by 12pm Friday, February 20th and consider making a donation to help cover program costs.
