Year End Giving – A Message From the Board
As 2024 draws to a close, we come to you with an important request – please consider including Congregation Bet Haverim in your end-of-the-year giving. Your gift to CBH allows us to continue our vital role as a leader of Jewish life in Yolo County, touching lives across generations through learning, celebration, and community.
Your year-end gift will help us in nurturing our communities growth in countless ways, including:
- Breaking Bread, Building Bonds: Support us as we host warm and welcoming Shabbat dinners for our newest partners and religious school families
- Sacred Moments, Shared Joy: Every Friday night, our community gathers to raise a glass and break challah together—a weekly tradition that turns strangers into friends and friends into family
- Festivals of Light & Laughter: Bring the magic of our traditions to life through vibrant holiday celebrations—from the glow of Hanukkah candles to the joyous revelry of Purim
- Little Seeds, Strong Roots: Our Mazel Tots program blooms as we plant the seeds of Jewish identity in our youngest members through engaging, age-appropriate activities
- Learning Without Limits: Ensure every child can access the richness of Jewish education through our Religious School scholarship program—because understanding our heritage should never depend on a family’s finances
- Souls Lifted in Song: Fill our sanctuary with inspiring melodies through special musical guests like Dan Nichols, whose contemporary Jewish music brings new energy to our High Holiday services and beyond.
