[streaming] Teshuvah in the Words of the Poets and in Your Own Voice
August 22, 2020 @ 7:00 pm - 7:45 pm
Together we will explore two poems, one by Mary Oliver and one by Stanley Kunitz, as we begin to prepare ourselves for the journey into the High Holy and it’s themes of teshuvah and return. We will read and discuss these poems and have a chance to respond in writing with our own poetic voice. Join with Rabbi Greg Wolfe and our CBH community and Rabbi Nancy Wechsler and her Congregation Beth Shalom in Carmichael for a very special Zoom meeting of learning and celebration of Havdallah in community.
Dr. Sheree L, Meyer is Dean of the College of Arts & Letters at Sacramento State and an instructor in the local Melton Adult Education program.
