Our community includes people of all ages, multi-cultural families, multi-racial families, interfaith families, single parents, singles, LGBTQ+ people, and people with disabilities or other accommodation needs.

Members Are Partners

Partnership in our sacred community delivers both privileges and responsibilities that elevate the experience above simple membership. Partners play an active role in shaping and sustaining our synagogue community. As a Bet Haverim partner, your gifts of both time and financial support ensure the opportunity for Jewish worship, education, and friendships in Yolo County.

We're all in this together

The total amount of partnership contribution we need to “keep the lights on” at CBH over this next year was calculated and then divided by the expected number of households. To pay our budgeted operating expenses for this coming year, pledge contributions for the year will need to average $3,100 per partner household. To the extent you are able, please consider contributing an amount exceeding the average; this mitzvah will help CBH achieve the financial foundation needed to provide a home for all who wish to share in Jewish life as part of our community. 

It is a core principle of CBH that no one will be denied an opportunity to join our community based on financial limitations. 

Please read this letter that was mailed out to partners regarding pledges.

Partnership Pledges are due this year on September 1, 2025, for continuing partners; new partners are welcome at any time. In addition to an annual pledge, all partner households also contribute a $300 “L’Dor v’Dor” maintenance fee and a $525 security fee.

Associate Partnership is available to individuals or households who are full members of a synagogue elsewhere, and who live outside of Yolo County but would like to stay connected to CBH. The cost is $500 a year for a household of any size. This provides access to services, newsletters, yahrzeit notices, and access to Zoom classes and events (applicable fees would be charged). Voting privileges, High Holidays tickets, and participation in the Education & Youth Program are not included with an Associate Partnership.   • You must submit this form, along with a payment toward your Total Partnership Commitment by September 1, 2025, to be considered a Partner in good standing for 2025-2026, and be eligible for complimentary High Holy Days tickets.

    When considering the amount of your Partnership Pledge, please understand that in order for CBH to pay its budgeted operating expenses for the coming year, total Partnership Commitments for 2025-2026 must average $3,100 per household.   • Each CBH Partner household contributes $300 per year to help maintain our facility. These funds offset the costs of custodial and landscape maintenance, as well as repair and upkeep of our facility.

  • Payment Options & Information

    We encourage Partners to pay by check, Bill Pay, donor advised charitable fund, or IRA qualified charitable distribution. Recurring monthly payments can be set up using your bank's Bill Pay function. If you opt to pay via Bill Pay, you can set up automatic monthly payments for the entire fiscal year (July 1, 2025 - June 30, 2026). Please contact your bank if you need assistance.

    If you wish to set up recurring monthly payments with a Credit Card, please download, print and return the Credit Card Authorization Form HERE . Please note, a 3.5% processing fee will be billed to your account and added to your payments if you choose this option.
